A compassionate and tenured financial services executive, Andy has helped advisors design, build, transition, and grow their practices for 22 years. He began his career at Schwab Performance Technologies providing technical support and sales. A desire to work more broadly with advisors led him to become a relationship manager for approximately 115 RIA firms for Schwab Advisor Services in 2004. As a relationship manager, he focused on the retention and growth of his firms. This opportunity allowed him to gather experience in human capital, marketing, practice management, and technology. Black Diamond Performance reporting recruited him in 2010 to grow their business in the Midwest. After Black Diamond’s acquisition, he joined Fidelity’s Institutional Wealth Services. There, he recruited and educated advisors regarding their options for independence. He briefly served as COO for an RIA and broker-dealer before recognizing that his true passion is in relationships, education, and identifying solutions to advisors’ challenges.
Andy lives with his wife, Mary, in Colorado with their two children, Cole and Olive. He has a keen sense of humor and an appreciation for video games, skiing, music, and finding the perfect movie or TV reference for any situation.
