Business Analyst – Development & Delivery (Remote, USA)

May 30, 2026

About the Role

NECG is a rapidly scaling wealth management firm operating across four business units — NECG, NewEdge Wealth, NewEdge Advisors, and NewEdge Securities. Our small Development & Delivery team builds the technology behind that growth, at a pace where what you contribute is visible, consequential, and shipped fast.

We’re hiring a Business Analyst who is ready for their next step. You’ve built strong BA fundamentals and you’re ready for work that goes beyond spec-writing. Here, BAs sit closer to the product — you’ll help shape what gets built, not just document it.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead requirements discovery, documentation, and traceability across active initiatives
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria developers can build from and QA can test against
  • Maintain a current, prioritized backlog and help the team operate with consistent delivery rhythm
  • Analyze systems, APIs, and data flows well enough to ask the right questions of developers and architects
  • Facilitate workshops and sign-off sessions that build real alignment, not just signatures
  • Contribute to product direction — what gets built, in what order, and why
  • Navigate competing priorities across multiple business unit

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud)
  • Proficiency in Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) — central to how we operate
  • Precision with requirements: structured, testable, traceable
  • Comfort with technical discussions about systems, data, and integrations
  • Judgment in ambiguity and a perspective shaped by where you’ve worked before
  • Real interest in AI tooling and how it changes delivery work — we’re early in our investment and need people who want to be part of that

What This Role Offers

  • Direct work with senior business and technology leaders from day one
  • Real product work — informing what gets built, not just documenting it
  • A small team where your contribution is visible and consequential
  • Growth without a tenure ceiling
  • AI-augmented work as part of the role, not as a side feature

What Sets You Apart

  • Wealth management, RIA, or other regulated financial services experience
  • Custodial platform experience (Fidelity, LPL, Schwab)
  • Financial data APIs and Salesforce integrations
  • Generative AI tool familiarity (e.g., Claude)
  • Product ownership or hybrid BA/PO experience

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000, based on experience
