The senior management team at Goss Advisors is looking for a highly skilled Trader to scale our investment platform while providing support to the Director of Investments on scaling the administration of our investment platform. The Trader will report directly to the Director of Investments. The position would preferably be in our office in New Orleans, LA with consideration in Baton Rouge, LA, or for the right candidate, remotely.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide exceptional service to your clients – the advisors of Goss. Be an advocate and resource for the advisors and staff of Goss at all times.
Manage and execute all incoming trade requests for firm managed models. This involves dedicated daily time to ensure all trades are executed accurately and timely.
Assist Director of Investments in model analysis, rebalancing, platform maintenance, website updates, and updating trade policies and procedures.
Assist and train advisors on how to use trading platforms and technology.
Assist in creation of model and platform marketing content, materials, and deliverables
Evaluate ways to make trading streamlined, more efficient, and scalable. This could include:
Industry trend analysis
Technology Analysis
Forming or joining a study group
Attending conferences and seminars
